Location : Puffin Island, Husavík, North Iceland

An island that is home to thousands of puffins and other seabirds in summer, this intriguing little island was just recently discovered as a scuba diving spot making it one of the newest diving locations in Iceland. The curious little puffins will likely be a part of your welcome committee as you step foot on the island and some of them may well be diving along side you! Maximum depth for this dive is 25 meters and minimum depth is 5 meters. Whalewatching tours with Northsailing in Húsavík can be arranged either before or after your scuba dive. We also offer tour to Fishing rock and combined tour.

Diving skills : advanced scuba diving skills with experience in dry suit diving and boat diving.*

Included : one dive, hotel pick-up and drop-off in Akureyri or Húsavík, an experienced local dive guide, all equipment, boat transfer to island, a light lunch onboard.

You need to bring : A diving certification from any recognized diving organization, warm long underwear and thick socks

Note:

In order to get the most out of your scuba diving experience in Iceland we recommend that all participants come well prepared.  Having a good hearty breakfast the morning of your scuba dive will give you the energy you need for the dive.  Also, if you have only used a wetsuit we recommend that you acclimatize yourself with dry suit diving first!  If you have not had previous dry suit experience we offer the possibility of dry suit testing before you dive. * for a small fee
